N'GOLA BIENNALE OF SAO TOME E PRINCIPE

In 2019 Yev Kravt has worked on N’GOLA the Biennale of Sao Tome and Principe, an island in the west coast of the African continent. A six-week event followed with over 30 African artists participated celebrating the power and beauty of African art and culture. This event followed with performances, events, lectures, screenings, and a documentary was made by Tomas Kamphuis and won several awards including the indie short film awards in Cannes. That same year the exhibition was brought to the Netherlands but places in a new context with the exhibition "NOW LOOK HERE. The African Art of Appearance."
